Palim 0.2.4-beta.9 makes first launch and Project Library recovery more resilient. Project Library setup now uses one packaged startup path, waits safely through slow first-time initialization, and can recover in place when the workspace becomes ready; local projects stay untouched on failure. Project Library terminology is now consistent across setup, editing, recovery, and support. System language no longer determines or rewrites a Project Library path, and custom locations remain supported. For controlled internal AI testing, connection recovery now respects the macOS system proxy when appropriate and reports sign-in transport failures at the correct step. These internal controls remain outside the normal author surface; ordinary local opening, editing, saving, proofing, printing, and export do not depend on AI or account availability. This public Beta remains ad-hoc signed and is not Apple-notarized, so macOS may show Gatekeeper or quarantine prompts. Keep independent backups of important projects.
