Palim 0.2.5-beta.1 makes the workspace language fit a wider range of writing and editing projects. Project Library, Binder, import, editing, revision, exploration, and delivery surfaces now describe the author's work as projects, content units, and primary text instead of assuming every project is a novel made of chapters.

The writing path is more consistent from opening a project through saving and organizing content. Content-unit creation and Binder actions keep their author-facing meaning across the desktop UI, API, persistence, recovery, and support evidence, while existing local project data remains on the same schema and storage boundary.

Typography preview controls now remain readable and usable in constrained dialog widths, and first-use author screens no longer expose internal receipt terminology. The product-site demo is rebuilt from the same current workspace UI so its terminology and layout match this release.

Palim's local workspace remains usable without an account or AI service. Palim AI is not available for purchase, and this public Beta is ad-hoc signed rather than Apple-notarized, so macOS may show Gatekeeper or quarantine prompts. Keep independent backups of important projects.
