Palim 0.2.5-beta.3 makes Binder deletion and organization calmer and safer. Non-empty folders now move to Trash as one recoverable subtree, keep their folder icon and nested structure, and can be expanded for a read-only preview before restoring or deleting permanently.

Trash now provides per-item Restore and Delete Permanently actions plus Empty Trash with a clear item and document count and an irreversible-action confirmation. Corrupted previews can still be removed safely, while restore fails closed rather than guessing. A restrained deletion-red treatment distinguishes Trash in both light and dark themes without turning it into a visual alarm.

File operations no longer push the tree aside with success or failure cards. Progress and errors stay local to the affected row or a stable status slot; selected-row actions remain opaque and legible; drag operations show the item, destination, and settling motion. Folder deletion uses one atomic operation, so large subtrees no longer wait on a series of document requests.

Palim local projects remain usable without an account or AI service. Palim AI is not available for purchase. This public Beta is ad-hoc signed rather than Apple-notarized, so macOS may show Gatekeeper or quarantine prompts. Permanent deletion cannot be undone; keep independent backups of important projects.
